Andrew Cummings, US Army

‘Drew’ (as we know him at Bucket List Dreams) served in the United States Army from 2005 to 2015 as an Infantryman. During his service, he held roles as a Squad Leader in B Co 1-125 Infantry, D Co 1-125 Infantry, and Senior Scout in F Co. 425 Inf (ABN) (Long Range Surveillance). He completed tours in Al Anbar Province, Iraq (Ramadi), and in Afghanistan (Baghlan Province - RC North, COP Khilaguy). In 2007, Drew also participated in a multinational mission in Ukraine and attended the International LRRP School in Pfullendorf, Germany.

Drew is married to his “incredible wife,” and the couple have two “wonderful” daughters. Currently, Andrew works as a Regional Partner with a veteran-owned real estate brokerage, where he helps others achieve their real estate goals.

Outside of work, he is passionate about motorcycles, playing guitar in several groups, competitive shooting, working out, hunting, and fishing. Drew says... “It’s been an absolute honor and privilege to volunteer with BLD, and I am deeply humbled to have recently become a recipient.”

Drew has been helping Bucket List Dreams since the beginning. He has many connections throughout the Veterans Community and has been instrumental in identifying qualified and deserving Veterans to receive Bucket List Dreams. Drew’s work on behalf of BLD is only part of what he has done in service to his fellow Veterans.

Outside of his dedication to his family, he has given of himself to his ‘band of brothers’ since getting out of the Army. He was instrumental in the founding of Foundation 14, an organization that provides (and adapts for handicaps, if necessary) motorcycles to Veterans. He is a member of various Veterans organizations and worked at the VA for years helping Veterans to navigate the system.

It is his decision to give a large portion of his life to his fellow Veterans in various capacities, (not just his service to BLD) which promoted BLD to grant a Bucket List Dream to Drew. Consequently, this past December, he experienced, along with other Veterans, a BLD-funded “Dream Hunt” in Texas.

Thank you again, Drew, for all that you do!!!
